Well the time is near guys! Sadly, in just under two weeks – I would put it off if I could – I will be 24. TWENTY FOUR. That’s like properly old right?
So since since this occasion apparently has to be celebrated, I thought I’d put together a little birthday wishlist. Partly, so you can see what I’m lusting over at the moment, and partly so I can make the impending elderly-ness seem better thinking about presents.
I know, I know I said March was going to be all reviews, but firstly, I promise this will resume after this, and secondly, it’s
nearly my birthday and I can cry if I want to…
So this year, my birthday wishlist consists of;
I am an absolute notebook addict. I carry one in my handbag at all times, for blogging, story and poetry ideas and just general things that I don’t want to forget. Because of this, and because I never want to throw them away once I’ve filled them it’s very important that they are cute/funny and this ‘There/They’re/Their’ notebook from Etsy, is right up my English-nerd alley!
Okay, I am aware this might be
a tad of a long shot. But I’ve wanted a puppy for literally forever! Especailly since following the lovely Becky from milkbubbletea on Instagram and seeing all the photos of her adorable little one!
My parents have a Westie, called Harry and he is the cutest little thing, so I can’t wait until the day me and R can have our own. Maybe if I just drop enough hints…?
I had a Pandora Bracelet a few years ago, which I sadly trod on and snapped the clasp. I still have a few really gorgeous charms but sadly no bracelet for them to go on, so I’ve been trying to decide on which one to get as a replacement for ages. I think I’ve finally decided on this leather one, purely because it’s a nice dressed down accessory for day-to-day but with some sparkly charms would go with a nice evening outfit too!
Urban Decay Naked Palette
I think this would be on every wishlist I am ever going to write – Until I find the spare money to shell out £38.00 on an eyeshadow palette that is. I’ve seen so, so SO many great reviews on this, and all the colours are exactly the ones I use day to day, so I can’t wait to finally get my brush-wielding mitts on one of these.
The Accidental Apprentice by Vikas Swarup
I don’t think a year goes by without there being at least one book on my birthday wishlist – and this year is no exception. I could write an entire post of just the books that I am lusting after at the moment, but I thought I would just keep it to this one.
Radio 4 are currently running a dramatisation of this book called ‘The Seventh Test’ and I am really enjoying listening to it, so this book is definitely next on my to-read list, if partly only to see if it’s as good as the radio play!
I have been meaning to buy one of these for months, the main reason I haven’t is because I am too afraid for my bank account to actually step foot in the MAC shop – I know this wouldn’t be the only thing I leave with! I can’t even decide on just one shade of this amazing lipstick. I think if I had to choose I would pick Please Me, but I’d have to try them all out first…
So let me know what you think of the things on my birthday wishlist, and tell me whats on yours! And don’t forget to keep an eye on my new Instagram page, because I’m sure to be posting pictures of the presents I do get!
