Spring is on the way…

So now the snow is pretty much over and done with, I’ve been looking forward to my favorite season…Spring!

Yes, i know it’s a little way away yet, but here’s just a few of the things that we have to look forward to!

Spring

Spring Fashion

The fashion in this season is by far my favourite! Mainly because it’s the first season of the year where you don’t have to wear a coat! (Please tell me it’s not just me who is FED UP with that already!) I always feel like wearing black and grey and general darks in winter, but come spring all the colour floods back into my wardrobe, and away go the thick warm jumpers and trousers.

That and for all of you defending your summer fashion – it can’t just me that finds it fully impossible to look even remotely attractive while sweating out in over-powering sun!

Flowers

Spring welcomes back flowers of all forms! When I was a kid the main road not far from my house was lined with grassy flower beds, and I always think of the daffodils and primroses that used to fascinate me on the way to school when I think of spring.

And of course not forgetting, hair flowers, floral prints, and the excitement of R bringing home a bouquet or two every now and then … Not that I’m holding my breath!

Pastels

As I said before, come spring the colours appear back in my wardrobe, on my nails and just into the world in general. But these don’t need to be the in-your-face brights that summer demands! These are cosy, yummy, pretty pastels. Just enough to keep the spirits up, not enough to blind a passer-by!

Wine

Okay, well I’m not going to try and pretend that I don’t drink wine every season. But there is something so delightful about spending a spring evening on the patio, or in a nice beer garden (not sweating like a crazy woman!) sipping on a yummy glass of rose.

Let me know what you guys are looking forward to in Spring, or if you’re holding out for Summer!

Love,always
